About RCB Fund Services

RCB Fund Services (“RFS”) was founded in 1996 by the Hon. Richard C. Breeden. Mr. Breeden is a former Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission under Presidents George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton. RFS provides specialized claims administration and fund distribution services in cases involving securities fraud and other types of unlawful conduct. RFS developed the first SEC Fair Fund in the WorldCom case, and it has subsequently handled many of the largest and most complex claims administrations on behalf of the U.S. Department of Justice (“DOJ”), the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and various federal courts.

RFS has developed both software and other analytics to help identify false or overstated claims and thereby prevent significant dilution of the recoveries for real victims. Over our history, on average our distributions have been approximately 2.5 times larger than they would have been if all claims filed had been accepted. At the same time, we devote significant effort to the goal of helping all real victims complete the claims process successfully through effective communications at every stage of the process.

RFS has managed the distribution of billions of dollars to over 1.5 million victims of unlawful conduct at companies including WorldCom, Enron, Adelphia Communications, J.P. Morgan Chase, and Madoff Securities. RFS has evaluated claims involving more than 20 million securities transactions.
